Z-37Q and Z-38Q are reforming catalysts developed on the basis of previous catalyst series through optimized external shape design. They are tailor-made for the MIDREX direct reduced iron, DRI, process, and are also used in H₂ production units from natural gas and coke oven gas.
Z-39 is an inert material used together with Z-37Q and Z-38Q to support stable catalyst loading and operation in reformer tubes.
Z-37Q and Z-38Q are highly active reforming catalysts developed through shape optimization for the MIDREX DRI process. Z-37Q and Z-38Q are nickel-based catalysts carried by alumina or calcium aluminate. Z-39 is an inert material used as part of the catalyst loading system.
