UV-1125 absorbs almost all ultraviolet radiation in the 250–400 nm wavelength range, offering strong absorption and a broad absorption range. In particular, its absorption in the UVA region complements that of conventional triazine UV absorbers.
UV-1125 is a new type of triazine UV absorber that can effectively inhibit photo-oxidative degradation and protect polymers, especially fiber materials, greatly improving the quality of textile products. It has the following advantages: (1) a broad UV absorption range and high UV protection efficiency; in the UVA region, its molar extinction coefficient is twice that of conventional triazine and benzotriazole UV absorbers; (2) strong adsorption, especially on fibers such as polyester and nylon ultrafine fibers; and (3) strong heat resistance, maintaining color stability under high-temperature processing and adapting to a variety of processing conditions.

UV Absorption Spectrum
UV-1164gl is a new ultraviolet (UV) absorber with strong UV absorption capability and high absorption efficiency, providing good protection against photodegradation of polymers. Compared with conventional UV absorbers, it has a higher molecular weight, lower volatility, good extraction resistance and processing performance; its light yellow appearance does not cause polymer discoloration.
UV-1164gl can be used alone or in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). It can be directly blended with resins, incorporated into masterbatches, or dissolved in solvents for surface coatings. The recommended dosage is typically 0.2%–0.3%. It is suitable for a wide range of polymers, including PP, PE, polystyrene, polyester, ABS, PVC, nylon and polyurethane. It also has strong fiber adsorption and is suitable for synthetic fiber textile applications.
